When can I buy my Octopus car?
When you're nearing the end of your salary sacrifice lease, car360 can help you buy the EV you've been driving.
If you get in touch earlier, we’ll provide an estimated price, then review and update it closer to your contract end date to ensure it’s competitive and fair.
Please note: your Octopus lease obligations remain in place until the official end of your agreement, even if you choose to purchase the car sooner.
What checks are done before I get the car back?
Before your EV is returned, it goes through a full 100-point mechanical quality check to ensure it’s safe, road-ready, and performing as it should.
Here’s what we check:
Mechanical systems – Brakes, suspension, tyres, electrics, and safety features
Charging system – Ports, cables, and connectors tested and verified
Final handover check – Every car is re-inspected before it leaves our hands
Your EV will also be cleaned. However, cosmetic issues like small dents or scratches won’t be repaired and will remain in the same condition as when collected.
How long does the process take?
We’ll send your quote within 1 working day, and once the vehicle passes inspection, we’ll arrange free delivery at a time that works for you.
If your car is in good condition with no unexpected issues, we aim to complete the full process within 72 hours from agreement to delivery.
Can I access the car360 extended warranty?
Yes, when purchasing your Octopus EV, you’ll have the option to extend your warranty for added peace of mind.
