That’s why battery condition is especially important when buying a used EV. Mileage alone doesn’t tell the full story, and not all used EVs have been treated the same. Our battery health report gives you the full picture, so you can buy with confidence.
A real-world view of your EV battery
A battery health report is a detailed, third-party assessment that shows how well the EV’s battery is performing in real-world conditions. It goes beyond surface-level checks or manufacturer data, using live vehicle information to analyse how the battery behaves under load, how it’s been used, and how much usable life it has left.
The report includes:
✔ Battery health score (out of 100): A clear snapshot of overall battery condition. The higher the score, the better
✔ Battery usage: Analyses charging habits, energy flow and any signs of wear
✔ Performance check: Reviews temperature control, voltage balance and key systems
✔ Control unit check: Confirms the battery’s data is reliable and accurate
✔ System communication: Ensures the vehicle reads and reports battery information correctly

Our third-party battery check covers over 95% of popular EV models. Some newer or less common vehicles aren’t yet supported but coverage is updated regularly. You can check the current list here.
